Initially my laundry room served a dual purpose washing & ironing. But as I began painting I needed a place to store my pant and my laundry room became my supply room. The cans grew monstrously and the room took another form. I don't know when it happened, but I do know how....
I thought tackling my pantry was a huge task, but tackling this room was gonna be a nightmare. However, since becoming a DIY'er I have learned to not look at the whole picture, but one frame at a time, and that's what I did. I emptied the room (with the exception of the washer & dryer) and prayed a centipede or spider wouldn’t crawl out.
I had some wood left over from my pantry so I started with building a much needed shelf. The biggest battle was deciding on what to keep and what to dump I had to assign space for my tools, paint & laundry. I didn't want to spend any money on window treatment so after pounding my head I remembered I had some fabric a friend had given to me plus I had some ruffles stored that I had taken down from another window some time ago. But then I remembered I had thrown away all of my old curtain rods. Just when I thought I might have to run to the store to buy curtain rods I looked at all of my paint brushes and I got an idea. So here's my Laundry Room now.
LET YOUR CREATIVITY FLOW!
