Faux Brick Planters

I hope everyone had a great 4th of July holiday!  I'm on vacation visiting family, but I wanted to share a project I just recently completed.  I was asked to paint 2 planters.  She wanted the Fresco old world brick look which wasn't a problem,

But while in transit one planter was almost demolished (no fault of mine).

She felt the planter was completely destroyed, but I decided to give it a shot fixing it, besides I couldn't mess it up any worse than what it was already ;-)  Thankfully all of the pieces had been saved, so with the help of some caulking & kwik seal I was able to piece it together....

Sorry, not many pictures, but this is the finish product.

If you're wondering why these planters are in my front room, it's because I didn't have enough space in my work room utility room which is where I do all of my painting.  Thankfuly there weren't any paint splatters!

Have fun and don't forget to LET YOUR CREATIVITY FLOW!
