Ready for Christmas!

Hope everybody had a terrific Thanksgiving!  I'm taking a break from studies to get into the holiday spirit.  I've started making gifts but haven't finished, but I did get my Christmas tree up and wanted to share.  My color theme this year is green & blue. I was pretty lazy, so I opted for lots of mesh and less ornaments.  Gotta admit, it was my easiest tree ever!

I'll be posting my hand crafted gifts as I complete them.

Have a great day and don't forget to LET YOUR CREATIVITY FLOW!

Love it! I use mesh and ribbon on my tree also! So easy and really quick to do! Great job and beautiful tree!

Your tree is very pretty! I love ornaments, but they are a pain to take down and put away. Using more garland was a great idea.

Hey cool, I make most of my own gifts as well! I'm really looking forward to seeing what you make for everyone. Hopefully, those people don't follow your blog, or the surprise will be kind of DIA, lol! And don't feel bad, I don't even have a tree up yet! Then again, we are going back to natural trees, and we don't want to put it up too early, or we won't have a tree left for Christmas, if you know what I mean, lol!

What a gorgeous tree, Sherry! That colour scheme looks really good. You're ahead of the game if you have a tree up, I'm still in Thankgiving mode!

I'm really looking forward to what you're making this year! Do you friends see your blog, or can you post pictures of their gifts without giving away any secrets?

Sherry, that tree is beautiful! I have never been able to do any kind of garland that looks right. Any tips for doing garland that you want to pass on??

Thanks, I generally stick with the traditional colors but decided to step out of my comfort zone (smile), I'm glad I did.

Danni, this was my first time going straight mesh. In total I used 40 yards. I bought 2 packs, each hold 10 yds that I then cut in half length wise. Then it's just a matter of wrapping around the tree. Thanks for visiting.

Brandi, you're correct. Taking ornaments down are a real pain! Thanks for dropping by.
