For most of us, our reason for starting DIY blogs is to share ideas on how you can do more with less, especially in our homes. How many times have you wished your bedroom, living room, etc could look better than it does without having to pull money from your pockets.
Do you remember when your parents use to go window shopping? Which implied walking downtown and browsing through the windows, wishing, and returning home doing nothing. I sometimes do that surfing the web. But today I came across a perfect little blog called Strictly Simple Style by Karen. Her blog Love Your Furniture Arrangement proves we can window shop (maybe I should say surf the web) and and then by rearranging our furniture change the complete appearance of a room. It's not always the big things that make a difference, but the little things. So, the next time you're surfing, and you find that idea room that you like, start rearranging, you'll be surprise at the transformation, plus it cost you nothing but time. Here's what she demonstrates:
Here two identical sofas create the double I arrangement.
Get the same effect by replacing one sofa with two chairs.

After reading her blog I'm now ready to switch my furniture around. Don't worry I'll take before and after pics so you can be the judge. And the next time you're in the mood to decorate, but find yourself low on funds, check out her blog!
